Securing Your Event Date for Balloon Décor
- Check Availability: Peek at our calendar to see if your special date is open.
- Request a Quote: Fill out our "Request a Quote Form" to get started.
- Reserve Your Date: Hit the "Reserve Date" button and pay a $100 retainer fee. Don’t forget to include your event date in the note section. This non-refundable fee locks in your date and will be deducted from your final order total.
Finalizing Your Event
For Events 14 Days or More Away:
- Review Estimate: We’ll send you an estimate that’s good for 3 days. Reach out with any questions or changes.
- Accept Estimate: If everything looks great, click "accept" to confirm and agree to the terms of SK Balloons & Co.
- Receive Invoice: We’ll turn your estimate into an invoice and email it to you. Full payment is due by the date on the invoice. If we don’t receive payment by that date, the invoice will be canceled.
For Events Less Than 14 Days Away:
- Review Estimate: We’ll send you an estimate valid for 1 day. Contact us ASAP with any questions or changes.
- Accept Estimate: Click "accept" to agree to the estimate and the terms of SK Balloons & Co.
- Receive Invoice: The estimate will become an invoice and be emailed to you. Full payment is required right away. Non-payment will result in cancellation of the invoice.
Payment Methods
For Individuals:
- The $100 deposit can be made online using a credit or debit card.
- We also accept Zelle Transfer, Venmo, Cash App, and Apple Pay upon request. Cash can be accepted on the date of the install if specified by SK Balloons and Co.
- A signed service agreement is needed to secure your reservation, including rental items.
- The remaining balance is due by the date specified on the invoice or on the day of the event if paying in cash. (This must be confirmed by SK Balloon and Co.
For Schools, Non-Profits, and Corporations:
- We accept credit/debit cards, and we understand that a check may be required.
- If payment cannot be made before the event date, a signed contract will be necessary.
Cancellation Policy
Clients of SK Balloons & Co. may cancel their event at any time before the delivery or event date, whichever comes first. Please note that a cancellation fee will apply. Refunds will be calculated based on items specifically purchased for your event (such as custom balloons or accessories) and the time invested in planning your event (including site visits, etc.). Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email only and will be processed within 14 business days of receipt. Refund amounts are determined as follows:
- Service Retainer: The retainer is non-refundable but can be transferred to a future agreed-upon date.
- Cancellations More Than 3 Weeks Before the Event: Refunds will be the total amount paid minus the non-refundable retainer.
- Cancellations Less Than 3 Weeks Before the Event: A maximum of 50% of the total balance is refundable.
- No Refunds: No refunds will be issued after delivery has been made or accepted.
Balloon Décor Installation and Guarantee
- Indoor Décor: We can install your balloons up to 2 days before the event. Air-filled balloons usually last about a week.
- Outdoor Décor: We’ll set up on the day of the event. The balloons’ lifespan can vary due to weather (humidity, wind, rain, temperature, sun). They may develop a matte finish due to oxidation.
- Weather Options:
- Option 1: Move to indoor décor, keeping the design as close to original as possible with minimal extra charges.
- Option 2: Reschedule to another date/time if available, with no extra charge unless the new location is outside our delivery zone.
SK Balloons & Co. is not liable for any damages that occur after delivery, including those caused by weather, sharp objects, people, pets, or other factors.
Delivery, Set-Up, Take-Down, and Rental Pick-Up
- Delivery and Set-Up: Cost dependent on mileage and time required to get everything delivered to and beautifully arranged at the venue. Please request a quote for actual cost.
- Take-Down/Rental Pick-Up: Additional fees for dismantling and picking up items. Customers do have an option to return rentals without an additional fee
Pricing
- Starting Prices: All prices listed are starting rates. Tax and delivery charges will apply.
Rentals
All rental items are owned by SK Balloons & Co. and should not be moved without permission. Rentals include:
- Stands and framing
- Backdrops
- Sequin and non-sequin curtains
- Artificial/silk florals
- Beverage/treat walls
Placement and Damage: We’ll help you with placement when we arrive. If any rental items are damaged, you’ll be responsible for replacement costs.
Using Your Own Backdrop and Props
You’re welcome to use your own backdrop, props, or structures with your balloon décor from SK Balloons & Co. However, please keep the following in mind:
Structure Rental Guidelines: To ensure the best results for your event, any client-provided or client-rented backdrops and props must be set up before our arrival. This allows our team to complete the balloon installation without delays. If your setup isn’t ready on time, we may not be able to use it and will need an alternate location to install.
All backdrops (frames, pipe and drape, walls, etc.) must be securely weighted. We recommend using at least two sandbags or weights totaling at least 40 lbs, especially if it’s windy. Our balloon garlands are substantial, and we want to ensure safety first! If the weights provided aren’t sufficient, we’ll do our best to work with your setup, but please have a backup plan. We aren’t responsible for any damage if the structure falls due to inadequate weights.
When SK Balloons & Co Provides Structures: We handle the delivery, setup, and stability of the structures throughout the event.
